Matt Weafer has been in the restaurant industry for over 20 years, and for much of that time, he worked toward owning his own restaurant. That dream became a reality in February 2020 when he and his wife, Jessica, purchased the very business they helped open—Niko’s Bakery & Cafe.

For the past five years, they’ve navigated the challenges and triumphs of growing their business, all while serving the Greater Owensboro community and beyond.
